Getting started
What this is, and the two ways to use it.
- What is DealsFixers?
- An escrow service for digital deals. We hold the buyerβs payment until the agreed work or item has been delivered, then release it to the seller. In private deal rooms a human moderator also sits in the conversation and performs the release. We are the escrow agent, not a party to your deal β see about DealsFixers.
- What is the difference between a marketplace order and a deal room?
- A marketplace order is for gigs listed here: you order from a listing, the price is locked from your site wallet, and you release it by approving delivery. A deal room is for a deal you arranged somewhere else: it needs no account, payment is external USDT that never touches the site wallet, and a moderator verifies payment and releases the funds. Both are escrow-protected.
- Do I need an account for a deal room?
- No. Creating or joining a deal room requires no sign-up at all β a guest session is created for you automatically. You need an account only for the marketplace side: listing gigs, ordering gigs, the wallet, direct messages and saved gigs.
- How do I start a deal room?
- Go to start a deal room, choose whether you are the buyer or the seller, set a title, a description and the amount (minimum $10). You get an 8-character invite code β send it to the other party, who enters it on the deal rooms page to join. Once both of you are in, a moderator is called automatically.
- What can I trade here?
- Digital deals: services and freelance work, social accounts, software and licences, smart contracts and crypto services, design, writing, video and marketing. Browse everything in the marketplace or by category. Prohibited items β stolen or hacked accounts, credentials and data, malware and intrusion tools, and anything illegal where either party is located β are listed in the Terms of Service.
- Is it free to sign up and to list a gig?
- Yes. Accounts and listings are free; we only take a fee when a deal completes. Full details for sellers are on for sellers.
Payments & fees
What you pay, what we take and how money moves in and out.
- What currencies can I use?
- Prices are quoted in US dollars and settled in USDT on three networks: TRC-20 (Tron), ERC-20 (Ethereum) and BEP-20 (BNB Smart Chain). There is no card, bank transfer or PayPal option, and no other coin or token is supported. Send only USDT, and only on the network shown with the address β anything else cannot be recovered.
- How do I add funds to my wallet?
- In Wallet β Deposit, pick a network, send USDT to the address shown, then submit the amount and the transaction hash. The minimum deposit is $10. Deposits are checked before being credited, so the balance appears after review rather than the second the transfer confirms. Each transaction hash can only be submitted once.
- What does DealsFixers charge on a marketplace order?
- The platform fee is charged to the seller β the buyer pays the listed price. Under $100 it is a flat $10; $100β$299, $20; $300β$499, $25; $500β$999, $35; and from $1,000 it is 5% of the order. The fee is shown before the order is confirmed and fixed at that moment. See fees.
- What does a deal room cost?
- A deal roomβs fee is worked out from the deal amount when the room is created, and the roomβs escrow panel shows the amount, the fee and the sellerβs net side by side before anybody pays. It uses its own scale, separate from marketplace orders β the full breakdown is on the fees page.
- Do deal rooms use my site wallet?
- No. Deal-room payments are 100% external USDT sent to our published addresses. Nothing is debited from or credited to your on-site balance, which is why a deal room works perfectly well for someone who has never created an account.
- How long does a withdrawal take?
- Not instantly. The minimum withdrawal is $50, only one request can be pending at a time, and every request is reviewed by a person before the USDT is sent β our Terms put that at normally a few business days. Requesting the money moves it from your available balance into a hold immediately, so it cannot be spent twice while the request is open.
- Is there a withdrawal fee?
- Yes, and it is separate from the order fee: from the $50 minimum up to $99.99 it is $10; $100β$199, $15; $200β$299, $30; $300β$999, 15%; $1,000β$4,999, 10%; and $5,000 and above, 7%. The exact fee and the net amount are shown before you confirm the request.
Deal rooms
The no-account, human-moderated side of the platform.
- Who is the moderator, and can I trust them?
- A moderator (we also call them a dealer) is a real person from our side who joins the room to verify payment, confirm delivery and perform the release. They are assigned automatically β the room is offered to one available moderator at a time and widens out until someone takes it. You never see their real identity; everyone in the room sees βModeratorβ. A moderator who is themselves the buyer or seller in a room is blocked by the system from releasing its funds or resolving its dispute.
- What are the stages a deal room goes through?
- Waiting for the other party β waiting for a moderator β awaiting funds β funds locked β delivered β completed. A room can also end as cancelled, or sit in disputed while a moderator investigates. The room shows the current stage and a progress bar the whole way through.
- How does payment work in a room?
- The buyer sends USDT to the address shown in the room and marks the payment as sent. The moderator verifies it on-chain before the seller is asked to deliver. When the seller has delivered and the buyer approves, the moderator releases the funds to the seller and the room is completed. Never send payment to an address that the other party pasted into the chat.
- What if the other party disappears?
- If they never joined, the room simply sits there β cancel it with a reason and nothing has been lost. If they joined but went quiet before any money moved, either of you can cancel with a reason. If funds are already locked, do not cancel: open a dispute instead, so a moderator reviews the room and decides where the money goes.
- Can I cancel a deal room?
- Any party can cancel a room that has not already completed, been cancelled or expired, and must give a reason of at least a few words. The reason is posted into the room so the other side can see why. Once funds are locked, a dispute is the correct route rather than a cancellation.
- Is there a minimum deal size?
- Yes β $10 for a deal room.
Safety & disputes
When it goes wrong, and what we can actually do about it.
- What if the seller does not deliver on a marketplace order?
- Do not approve. Nothing releases on its own β there is no timer that pays a seller because you stayed quiet, so your money stays locked in escrow. Message the seller with what was promised and what arrived, and if it stalls, email support@dealsfixers.com with your order number. Marketplace orders have no self-service refund button: a person reviews the order before anything moves.
- How do I open a dispute?
- In a deal room, the Dispute button appears once funds are locked or the seller has marked the delivery. Write at least a sentence explaining the problem. The room is frozen, the reason is posted into its history, and the assigned moderator is alerted to investigate.
- Who decides a dispute, and how?
- The moderator assigned to that room, or an administrator with no stake in it. They read the roomβs full history and the evidence both sides provide, then close it as completed (funds go to the seller) or cancelled (they do not), with a written note posted in the room. On the escrowed funds, that decision is final β it does not stop you pursuing the other party by other means.
- Can I get a refund?
- Money that is still in escrow can come back to you β that is the whole point of holding it. Money you have already released cannot: approving a delivery is final, and crypto settlement means there is no chargeback behind it. In a deal room, a dispute resolved as cancelled means the funds are not released to the seller. Read refunds & disputes for the detail.
- What can never be recovered?
- USDT sent to the wrong address, or on a network other than the one displayed with the address. That is a property of the blockchain, not a policy we could waive. Copy the address rather than typing it, check the network twice, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure.
- What are the warning signs of a scam here?
- Someone asking you to pay outside escrow or βsave the feeβ; a wallet address pasted into the chat by the other party; pressure to approve a release before you have the goods; someone claiming to be staff and asking for a payment or a βverification transferβ; and anyone asking for your password or a 2FA code β we never do. Report all of it via support. More in safety.
- Is DealsFixers a bank, and is my money insured?
- No, and no. We are an escrow and moderation service, not a bank, a licensed financial institution or an insurer. Funds are held only for the duration of a deal, they earn nothing, and they are not covered by any deposit protection scheme.
Account
Security, identity, records and leaving.
- How do I turn on two-factor authentication?
- Profile β Security. Scan the QR code with any authenticator app and confirm the 6-digit code. After that, signing in asks for a code as well as your password. If your account holds a balance, do this today.
- I forgot my password.
- Use sign in β forgot password, and follow the link sent to your registered email. If you no longer have access to that mailbox, email support@dealsfixers.com and explain β do not create a second account, which makes recovering the first one harder.
- Do I need to verify my identity (KYC)?
- Not today. Signing up, listing a gig, ordering and withdrawing do not require identity documents. We still have to act on suspicious activity β see our AML policy for what gets an account frozen.
- Can I buy and sell from the same account?
- Yes β one account does both, and Orders shows your purchases and your sales separately. You cannot order your own gig, and a gig has to be active to receive orders.
- What is a business statement, and how does someone verify it?
- From business statement, a seller can generate a PDF covering their completed deals over any date range, with opening and closing balances and per-deal invoices. It is built server-side from settled transactions only, so it cannot be edited or inflated, and each statement carries a public verify link that lets a bank or an accountant check it against our records without seeing your account.
- How do I delete my account?
- Profile β Danger zone β βDelete my accountβ. Deletion is blocked while you have an active order, a pending deposit or a wallet balance β settle or withdraw those first. If you cannot sign in, email support@dealsfixers.com from your registered address and we will process it within 30 days. Full details: delete your account.
- What data do you keep about me?
- What we collect, why we hold it, who can see it and how to have it removed is set out in the Privacy Policy. Records we are legally required to retain β completed-transaction and tax records, for instance β are kept for the minimum period the law requires even after an account is deleted.
