Buying a gig, step by step

From an empty wallet to an approved delivery.

Create an account and add funds
Marketplace orders are paid from your site balance. In Wallet → Deposit, pick a network, send USDT to the address shown, and paste the transaction hash. Minimum deposit is $10, and the credit appears once the transfer has been checked.
Find the gig
Search the marketplace, filter by category, and sort by newest, price or rating. Tap the heart on anything you are still thinking about — it lands in Saved.
Ask before you order
Every listing has a message button that opens a direct chat with the seller. Confirm the awkward details — scope, revisions, exactly what gets handed over — while you still hold all the leverage.
Order — and your money locks, it does not leave
Choosing a package moves that amount from your available balance into escrow. The seller can see the order and cannot touch the money. Your order shows as In escrow in Orders.
The seller delivers and marks it delivered
You get a notification, and the order moves to Delivered. Check the work against what the listing promised, and against anything you agreed in messages.
Approve and release
Press Approve & release and the funds go to the seller, minus our fee to them. This one is final — there is no undo, and no chargeback afterwards, so approve when you are actually satisfied and not a moment before.

What to read, and what to read past.

The “what’s included” list

This is the part a moderator would compare a delivery against. If it is vague, the delivery is allowed to be vague. Ask for specifics in writing before ordering.

Package differences, not package prices

Basic, Standard and Premium should differ in scope. If the three tiers describe the same work at three prices, you are being asked to pick a number, not a service.

Delivery days

The listing states a delivery time and the order records it. A seller quoting one day for work that plainly takes a week is telling you something useful.

The gallery

Look for output that could only be theirs — a dashboard mid-work, a file tree, a real result. Generic stock imagery proves nothing.

How they answer

A pre-order question is a cheap test. Someone who answers a scope question precisely will usually deliver precisely.

Compare before committing

Save a few candidates and put the same question to each. Sorting by price alone hides the seller who included the thing everyone else charges extra for.

What escrow actually means for you

Nothing releases on its own. There is no timer that pays the seller if you stay quiet. The release happens when you approve it, and only then.
The seller cannot spend it while it is locked. Escrow is not a deposit with the seller — the amount sits outside both of your spendable balances until the order settles.
You pay the listed price. Our platform fee on a marketplace order comes out of the seller’s payout, not on top of yours. Everything we charge is on the fees page.
Every movement is recorded. The lock and the release each write a line in your wallet history with the order number attached.

Approval is one-way

Releasing funds is irreversible, and crypto settlement means there is no chargeback behind it. Do not approve because a seller says the release is needed to “unlock” the delivery — that is the oldest trick aimed at escrow buyers.

If the seller goes quiet, or the delivery is wrong

Do not approve
Your money stays locked in escrow for as long as the order is unapproved. Silence costs you nothing and is your entire negotiating position.
Message the seller and be specific
Say what was promised, what arrived, and what would fix it. Keep it in messages rather than moving to another app — an on-platform record is what anyone reviewing the deal can actually read.
Bring us in
If it stalls, email support@dealsfixers.com with your order number (it looks like #O123456), the account email you ordered from, and what has been exchanged. Marketplace orders have no self-service refund button — a person reviews the order and the evidence before anything moves. What we can and cannot do is set out in Refunds & disputes.
In a deal room, open a formal dispute
Deal rooms have a Dispute button once funds are locked or the seller has marked delivery. Write at least a sentence of reasoning; the room freezes, the assigned moderator is alerted, and they close it as either completed or cancelled with a written note in the room.

Buying something arranged elsewhere

A group chat, a forum, a friend of a friend — that deal can still run through escrow.

A deal room is a private, moderated room for a deal that did not start on the marketplace. Neither side needs an account. One of you opens the room, sets the amount (minimum $10) and picks a role; the other joins with the 8-character invite code. A human moderator then joins to run it.

Payment is external USDT to our published address — a deal room never uses your site wallet.
You mark the payment sent; the moderator confirms it on-chain before the seller is asked to deliver.
The seller delivers in the room, you approve, and the moderator performs the release.
Either party can cancel with a reason while the deal is still open, and either can dispute once funds are locked.

Stay out of trouble

Never pay outside escrow

A seller who wants a direct transfer, a “cheaper without the fee” arrangement, or a wallet address pasted into chat is asking you to drop every protection you came here for. Report it instead — see support.

Send only USDT, only on the network shown

A deposit sent as the wrong asset, or on a network other than the one displayed with the address, cannot be recovered by us or by anyone. Copy the address, check the network, then send a small test amount if you are unsure.

Lock down your own account

Two-factor authentication lives in Profile → Security. We will never ask you for your password or a 2FA code — not in a message, not by email, not in a deal room.
