What it costs

One platform fee per completed deal, paid by the seller, plus a fee when you withdraw your balance. Deposits are free, listing is free, and opening a deal room is free. Here are the actual numbers.

One fee, on completion

We charge when a deal completes. No subscription, no listing fee, no per-message charge, nothing to open or join a room.

The seller pays it

The buyer pays the agreed amount and nothing on top. The fee comes out of the seller’s payout, in both the marketplace and deal rooms.

Shown before you commit

The fee and the exact payout are displayed in the room and on the order before anyone sends money. The tables below are the same numbers.

Marketplace order fee

Charged on gigs bought through the marketplace, where the money moves via your DealsFixers wallet.

The buyer pays the listed price out of their wallet balance, and it locks in escrow. On approval the seller is credited the price minus the fee above. Price and fee are both read from the listing on our servers when the order is placed.

So on a $100 order the buyer is charged $100, we keep $20, and the seller's balance goes up by $80. Withdrawing that balance costs extra — see deposits and withdrawals.

Deal room fee

Charged on private moderated rooms, where payment is external USDT and a human dealer handles the release.

Deal rooms run on a different scale to the marketplace because every one of them is moderated end to end by a person: they verify the payment on-chain, follow the delivery, send the payout, and decide any dispute. The fee is fixed when the room is created and shown in the escrow sidebar from that moment on.

On a $100 deal the buyer sends $100 in USDT to our address, the dealer releases $85 to the seller, and $15 is the platform fee. The minimum deal is $10.

The first tier is flat, so small deals cost proportionally more

Below $100 the fee is a flat $10 whatever the amount — which at the $10 minimum is the whole deal. A moderated room is worth it when what you stand to lose is bigger than the fee. For smaller amounts, deal with someone you already trust.

Network fees are separate and are not ours

Whoever sends USDT pays that blockchain's own transaction fee. TRC-20 is normally the cheapest, ERC-20 the most expensive. We never take a cut of it and we cannot refund it.

Deposits and withdrawals

These apply to the marketplace wallet only. Deal rooms never touch your balance, so they never touch these fees.

Deposits — free

We charge nothing to deposit. Send USDT to the address shown for your chosen network, submit the transaction hash, and the full amount is credited once we have confirmed it. The minimum deposit is $10. Send only USDT, and only on the network shown — anything else cannot be recovered.

The minimum withdrawal is $50, and you can have one request pending at a time. Requests are reviewed by a person before the USDT is sent, so allow a little time. The fee and the exact amount that will arrive are shown before you confirm.

The tiers step rather than slide, so an amount just over a boundary can cost more than one just under it — withdrawing $200 costs $30 while $199 costs $15. Check the figure on the confirmation screen, and batch withdrawals rather than making several small ones.

What is always free

Browsing the marketplace and viewing any gig.
Creating an account, and listing as many gigs as you like.
Opening a deal room or joining one with an invite code — including with no account at all.
Chat, file attachments and direct messages.
Opening a dispute in a deal room, and having a moderator review it.
Depositing USDT into your wallet.
Business statements, invoices and statement verification.

We may change our fees, but a change never applies to an order already placed or a room already created — see the terms.

Questions about money

Does the buyer pay anything on top of the price?: No. The buyer pays the agreed amount. The platform fee is deducted from the seller’s payout, so a $500 deal costs the buyer exactly $500 plus whatever their own wallet charges to send it.
When is the fee taken?: At release. On the marketplace the seller is credited the price minus the fee when the buyer approves. In a deal room the dealer sends the payout minus the fee once the buyer has approved delivery.
Do deal rooms and the marketplace use the same fee scale?: No — they are separate scales, and the tables above are the real ones for each. A deal room is priced higher because a human moderates it from start to finish. See deal rooms explained.
Is there a fee if a deal is cancelled?: Cancelling a room before payment costs nothing — nothing has moved. If a deal is cancelled or refunded after payment, contact the moderator in the room; the outcome and any deduction is set out in the dispute decision posted there.
Can I pay a deal-room fee from my wallet balance?: No. Deal rooms are settled entirely in external USDT and are independent of the on-site wallet. The fee is simply deducted from what the dealer sends the seller.
Who pays the blockchain network fee?: Whoever sends the transaction. It goes to the network, not to us. TRC-20 is usually the cheapest of the three networks we support.
