Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 September 2026
1. Who we are and what this is
DealsFixers operates an escrow service for digital deals at dealsfixers.com. We hold a buyer's payment until the agreed work or item is delivered, then release it to the seller. We are not a party to the underlying deal — we are the escrow agent and, in deal rooms, the moderator.
By creating an account, opening or joining a deal room, or otherwise using the service you agree to these terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Refund & Dispute Policy, the AML & KYC Policy and the Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts.
- You must not be located in, or acting on behalf of anyone in, a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions.
- One person, one account. Accounts may not be sold or transferred.
- A registered account is required to create or join a deal room, and both parties to a room must hold one. Until 8 September 2026 a room could be opened on a lightweight guest session instead; those sessions are discontinued, and rooms created under them remain governed by these terms.
- Your account details must be accurate and kept up to date, including the mobile number you register. It is a contact number on file, not a verified one, and we may use it to reach you about a deal you are party to.
3. The two ways to deal
Marketplace gigs. A seller lists a gig. A buyer orders it and the price is locked in escrow from the buyer's wallet balance. When the buyer approves delivery, the funds are released to the seller minus our platform fee. Nothing is released on a timer.
Deal rooms. Two parties who met elsewhere enter a private room using an 8-character invite code. Each of them must hold a registered account, so that both sides of the deal are identifiable to us. A moderator (a human from our side) joins, verifies that payment has been made, and releases funds once delivery is confirmed. Deal-room payments are made in USDT directly to our published addresses and do not use the on-site wallet. In a room created on or after 3 September 2026 the buyer sends the deal amount plus our fee and the seller is paid the full deal amount; see section 4.
Inactive rooms. A room where no payment has been reported and nothing has happened for seven days is closed automatically, after a reminder to everyone involved at three days. Nothing is charged and no money moves, because in those states none has been sent; either party may open a new room. A room where a payment HAS been reported, or that is in dispute, is never closed automatically — it is referred to a moderator, because a transfer may already exist on a blockchain and no automated process decides its outcome.
4. Fees
We charge one platform fee per completed deal. The scale is the same for a marketplace order and a deal room, and it is worked out from the value of the deal:
- Under $100 — a flat $10
- $100 to $299 — a flat $20
- $300 to $499 — a flat $25
- $500 to $999 — a flat $35
- $1,000 and above — 5% of the value
Who pays it differs between the two, and the difference is the point:
- Marketplace orders — the fee is deducted from the seller. The buyer pays the listed price and nothing on top. At release the seller is credited the price minus the fee: on a $500 order the buyer pays $500 and the seller receives $465.
- Deal rooms created on or after 3 September 2026 — the fee is added on top and paid by the buyer. The buyer sends the deal amount plus the fee, and the seller receives the full amount agreed: on a $500 deal the buyer sends $535 and the seller receives $500. The minimum deal is $10.
- Deal rooms created before that date — the fee was deducted from the seller, exactly as on a marketplace order: on a $500 deal the buyer sent $500 and the seller received $465. A room keeps the commercial terms it was created under for its whole life, and the figures shown in that room are the ones that apply to it.
Withdrawals carry a separate processing fee. The minimum withdrawal is $50:
- $50 to $99 — a flat $10
- $100 to $199 — $15
- $200 to $299 — $30
- $300 to $999 — 15%
- $1,000 to $4,999 — 10%
- $5,000 and above — 7%
Fees are shown before you confirm an order, a deal room or a withdrawal — in a room, both the total the buyer must send and the amount the seller will receive are displayed side by side — and they are set out with worked examples on the Fees page. We may change our fees, and we may change which side of a deal carries them, but a change never applies to an order or a room already created. How fees are treated when a deal does not complete is set out in the Refund & Dispute Policy.
5. Payments, wallets and withdrawals
- All amounts are denominated in US dollars and settled in USDT on the TRC-20, ERC-20 or BEP-20 networks.
- Deposits are credited after we confirm the transaction on-chain. Send only USDT, and only on the network shown — funds sent on the wrong network or in the wrong asset cannot be recovered.
- Minimum withdrawal is $50. Only one withdrawal request may be pending at a time.
- Withdrawal requests are reviewed by a person before the USDT is sent. Payouts are normally made within 7 to 14 working days of the request; a request may be held longer while we check it.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the destination address. A transaction sent to an address you provided cannot be reversed.
6. Escrow, delivery and disputes
- Funds held in escrow are not the seller’s property until released, and are not spendable by the buyer while locked.
- The buyer should approve or dispute a delivery promptly. In a deal room the moderator confirms the buyer’s PAYMENT on-chain before the seller is permitted to deliver, and pays the seller only after the buyer has approved the delivery.
- If the parties disagree, either may open a dispute. A moderator or administrator reviews the room history and evidence and decides the outcome. A moderator who is a party to the deal may not decide it.
- Our decision on a dispute is final as far as the escrowed funds are concerned. It does not stop you pursuing the other party by other means.
The full mechanics — who may cancel and when, how a dispute is decided, and what can and cannot be reversed — are in the Refund & Dispute Policy.
7. No chargebacks
Crypto settlement is irreversible. Once funds are released under these terms there is no chargeback mechanism. This protects sellers from payment reversal fraud, and it is why we hold funds in escrow and moderate deals in the first place.
8. What you may not sell or do
- Anything illegal where either party is located, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Stolen, hacked or fraudulently obtained accounts, credentials or data.
- Malware, phishing kits, carding services, or tools whose purpose is to break into systems.
- Impersonating another person or business, or misrepresenting what you are delivering.
- Moving a deal off-platform to avoid fees after making contact here, or asking another user to pay you directly instead of through escrow.
- Abusing, threatening or harassing other users or our moderators.
We may suspend or close an account, refuse a transaction, or reverse a release where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. Money laundering, sanctions and the identity checks we may ask for are covered in the AML & KYC Policy.
9. Account security
You are responsible for your login credentials. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication in your profile. Tell us immediately at support@dealsfixers.com if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.
10. Availability and liability
The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we do not guarantee that a counterparty will perform. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount we hold in escrow for the transaction in question.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Closing your account
You may delete your account from your profile at any time, and deletion is permanent. It is blocked only while you still have an order in progress or awaiting your approval, a balance in your wallet — including anything locked in escrow or held against a pending withdrawal — or a deposit waiting to be reviewed. Settle or withdraw those first, then delete.
The step-by-step is on Delete your account, and what survives deletion is in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and continued use after that means you accept them.
